As a church we support IJM in their efforts to end slavery worldwide. Our previous minister, Terry Tennens, went on to run IJM in the UK and we maintain strong links with this fantastic organisation.
The Baptist Mission Society work on four continents and are involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, and media and advocacy. We support the work of BMS and welcome a representative once a year to keep us up to date on BMS's ongoing efforts to combat poverty.
Around the world, Christians are persecuted for their faith. Some face heavy fines, others imprisonment whilst others face death for believing in Jesus. CSW is a Christian organisation working for religious freedom through advocacy and human rights, in the pursuit of justice.
Colne Valley Alive is a partnership which brings together many churches along the River Colne. Since it began in the 1980s, Colne Valley Alive has grown to involve churches and individuals of every denomination along the Colne River; worshipping and praying for the area, and joining together in unity.
As a church, we are a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Baptist churches are found in almost every country in the world and in this Baptist family everybody is equal, for everybody has a part to play in the service of God.
