Our recent quinquennial survey has highlighted numerous parts of the building that need attention. On top of that, the roof is leaking in several places. As a small congregation, we can’t afford to make a start on works which are estimated to be in excess of £150,000. However we are passionate about our building and are therefore reaching out in the hope that through grants and donations we might be able to give it the love that it deserves. If you or anyone you know would like to partner with us in raising the necessary funds, we would love to hear from you.

We now have a JustGiving page up and running providing a safe and easy way for us to receive donations and keep people updated on our progress.

The link below will take you there.

The building currently falls short of it’s potential and ideally we need someone with an architects vision to inspire and explain the possibilities alongside the necessary repairs.

Our Church is so much more than a building, it is a cross generational group of people, from differing backgrounds, working together to bring a little of God’s kingdom here in this village. We are seeking to be a place where all are valued, respected and welcomed into our family. A place where it is ok to share laughter and tears, excitement and pain. The building is simply a means to this end. It has served the community well for hundreds of years but it now needs input from the community if it is to survive. We do not want to abandon this beautiful building but sadly without a lot of extra money being put into it, that will be our only option.
